MRAZED… Goodbye Dear Friend.

I will be getting a new car this week (stay tuned for a post on my negotiating skills) and am very excited about it. However, I am very sad to say goodbye to my current car — “The Mrazed Mobile.” When I was 16 my dad picked me up from school and brought me to a Jeep dealership. When we pulled in, there was a red Jeep and a blue Jeep parked next to one another. We got out of his car and he told me to pick one. Naturally, I freaked out and ran towards the red one. It was love at first sight. He then looked at me and said “I will buy you this car… but you have to pay me back half and pay for gas and car insurance.” I then spent the next five years working and saving — giving my dad back the money I owed him. Working for my car made me appreciate it more and was one of the best things my dad could have asked me to do. It taught me the importance of saving and how hard you have to work for the things that you want in life. I honestly think paying for my car is the reason why I work so hard today. I have a lot of memories in my Jeep and I am sad to part ways but excited for new adventures.
