I never thought I would blog about a Coffee Shop…
This past weekend I went home to Rhode Island and saw the most ridiculous commercial for Marylou’s Coffee.

The commercial, in a nut shell, is a bunch of high school girls wearing tight pink shirts walking on treadmills talking about low carb coffee. If you know me, or read my blog — you can only imagine how angry I became while watching this. After watching the commercial I thought to myself, this place seems terrible and if I had a daughter… I would never let her work there.
I also discovered that a Marylou’s coffee just opened right down the road from my house. So, naturally I went to investigate. When you walk in, you are overwhelmed by the color pink. The staff was nice and the coffee was okay, but I just felt weird. I felt like I was in some weird factory that pumped out caffeinated, peppy, young girls. It was bizarre. I’m not sure if I understand the brand or if I want to. If anyone has been to a Marylou’s or has anything to add. Please share your thoughts.
